Warhammer 40K
Set in the 41st Millenium, mankind is pretty much at war with the entire universe. This is a tabletop game, which means it’s played on a board which is anywhere from 20”x30” up to 4’x6’ (even larger if you are playing the Apocalypse version). It’s a strategy game involving tape measures to move and dice rolling for combat.
I play several armies:
Ultramarines - a space marine faction, these are generally considered the good guys, but in this universe that’s a very subjective term.
Death Guard - Space marines that have been corrupted by chaos gods and are now a disgusting, disease ridden army covered, and spreading, poxes, plagues, and other grossness.
The Leagues of Votann - An old/new army of Space Dwarves. They were discontinued around 20 years ago but are now being reissued with new models.
Adeptas Sororitas - Also known as Sisters of Battle. An army of women that is dedicated, body and soul, to the Emperor. They are often referred to as “nuns with guns”, and their lore and appearance supports this.
